Birthday Card

Here is a birthday card I made for my sister.
I used the Julie Nutting Lorena Prima doll stamp.  I really like these stamps. I stamped the doll on paper from the Julie Nutting "Buff" A4 paper pad.  The dress and paper on the outside and inside of the card are from the Dear Lizzy "Lucky Charm" 12x12 paper pack. I attached the doll to the card base using foam mounting tape. I used assorted Studio Calico Wood Veeners. The metal birthday and candle are from a Making Memories celebration charm pack (2004), The flowers are Prima flowers and the heart stickers are Sticko stickers. I used adhesive tech glue to attach the flowers, veneers, and charms. This the glue I usually find at Tuesday Morning for .99. It holds really well and is easy to apply. On the inside of the card, I printed the sentiment on vellum and used washi tape on the edges. The stamps are from a Fiskars birthday collection. I used jet black archival ink.

All in all I think it came out really well. Until next time, enjoy life and craft on!

Why I'm Here

Well, it's my first blog.  I'm a crafter (mostly cards, but trying to branch out) with a youtube channel. I want to share what I create; I'm just not up for doing videos yet. So. I'm going to use my blog to showcase my crafty side. Can't say how often I'll post; so just keep checking back. Thanks. Until next time, enjoy life and craft on!
